Hello, there! My name’s Mary and I’m a teacher who loves her job.
Why do I love teaching? Firstly, I enjoy communication with students, helping and encouraging them. As we know, a human being is a social animal, and we always like spending time talking and finding out something new from other people.
Secondly, teaching can be interesting and fun using different interactive activities, grammar and vocabulary games. There are loads of materials for any tastes and interests including online resources, video, audio that can make a lesson exciting and enjoyable. Teaching online motivates to use them during the lesson.
Finally, I am sure that I do a really important thing – I teach people a new skill and a new way of thinking. Speaking a language, which is different from yours, broadens your mind, develops your imagination and creativity. You learn about a new culture and start understanding those people, who live in other countries.
However, teacher’s work means almost nothing without student’s motivation and desire to learn. If you have decided to learn a language, the first thing to do is to understand what for. You need to set a clear goal and answer the main question – ‘Why?’ The answer can be quite different: for work, for travelling, for getting
married, etc. What makes a difference is your deep understanding of what you are doing. So, there is no secret in success - if you have a devoted teacher, motivation and time, you will achieve your goal as fast as possible.

I started teaching when I was studying at university. I have rich experience teaching children, teenagers and adults of different ages both individually and in groups. I taught students to get them ready for Cambridge exams like KET, PET and FCE; I had lessons of spoken and Business English with adults, as well as I
conducted the course of General English. Therefore, I can use different approaches to lesson planning considering age, number of people, level of English and the goal of learning the language. I do my best to make my lessons interesting, highly informative and practical for my students.
I am a Master of linguistics. I graduated from Udmurt State University in Izhevsk in 2015 (Bachelor’s degree) and from Saint-Petersburg State University in 2017 (Master’s degree). I have already been teaching for 6 years and I am not going to
stop.
I believe that teaching is effective if you put your soul into it.
I am waiting for you at my lessons!
